- agriculture (e.g. precision farming, crop health),

- machine vision (e.g. colour sorting / measurement, web / surface / inspection, chemical analysis, plastic sorting),

- remote sensing (e.g. Ground Truth, Material Mapping),

- mineral exploration (e.g. Rare Earth Elements),

- defence / arms (e.g. Target Discrimination / IFF),

- science / medicine (e.g. biological analysis),

- oceanography.
